As the Director of Human Resources, your primary responsibility is to oversee the HR function to align with the strategic business objectives. This pivotal role involves developing and implementing strategies and policies. Key responsibilities include:

  • Guiding and overseeing all HR facets: recruitment, coaching, compensation & benefits, health & safety, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Ensuring recruitment of high-caliber employees within budgeted staffing plans to meet business targets.
  • Providing functional direction and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Serving as a mediator and solution initiator for colleague concerns.
  • Offering direction, coaching, and counseling on HR issues like performance management and employee relations.
  • Upholding high colleague satisfaction and team spirit through active support and participation in hotel core committees.
  • Maintaining effective communication throughout the hotel.
  • Establishing annual objectives, budgets, and programs for the HR department aligned with the hotel’s strategic plan.
  • Cultivating a cooperative working climate to maximize productivity and colleague morale.

Responsibilities

Requirements

    • Fluent in English.
    • Previous pre-opening experience in Egypt preferred.
    • Track record of career progression and stability.
